He made it!!! Carter was born on Wednesday May 13th at 4:57 pm. He weighed 4 lbs 5 oz and was 17 1/2 inches long. He is so tiny! He was 6 weeks early and we have all been praying that he would be healthy....our prayers were answered. He is such a little miracle! He doesn't have any breathing problems. The Dr. said he'd probably have trouble taking a bottle since he was so premature but he's done great! He had to have a tube for a day but he yanked it out and hasn't had to have it since! They have been slowly increasing his feedings- he started out with 5 cc (about a teaspoon) and he's up to 35 already. The doctor said he has definitely surprised them. We are so thankful...GOD IS AMAZING!
Ty is so proud of his little guy...he is going to be a wonderful dad. He was great all through the labor and delivery.
This is just after he was born. He has an IV in his right hand and monitors for his heart and lungs.
I can't wait to bring him home!!!

Praise God! That is awesome! I am sooooo happy for you and Ty. He's precious. I know you are so thankful and excited for him to be here and healthy. I've checked your blog at least once a day because I have thought about you a lot. I'm so glad to hear everyone is doing good! I will continue to pray for Carter to keep doing so well. God is good!!!
